*POSITION: CONCESSIONS

We offer a basic but enjoyable menu for guests. Set-up and menu comparable to that of a stadium, bowling alley, or school snack stand.

Base Camp Concessions provides our guests full meal options and snack items.
Position is specifically based around food prep, convection oven use, and grill use; burgers/dogs/spiedies. 

This position may also cross train to assume other positions with Guest Services.

Seasonal Position: 20-40 Hours per week, Target Start April 5th, 2027

THIS POSITION REQUIRES:

1. Food preparation
2. Food/beverage/dry good stocking
3. Inventory control
4. Maintaining a clean work area, Health Department compliancy
5. Knowledge of food handling safety
6. Food Service and cashier experience desired, but not required  - Training will be provided to the right candidates

Guest Service & Cashier experience a plus!

DEPARTMENT: GUEST SERVICES

Hours may vary, but may be all of 9 am – 6 pm
Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand for prolonged periods of time

Guest Services positions are the point of contact for inquisitive guests in the park, animal feed sales, ride/attraction ticket sales, and souvenir purchases. Considered a hub of information and services; individuals must be able to work fast paced, multi task, and maintain the highest level of guest service and satisfaction.

Position/location can rotate within the park per the day; Welcome Center, Gift Shop, Animal Feed & Fun locations, Giraffe Encounter Decks, Concession Registers and More!

Seasonal Positions: 20-40 Hours per week, intended training begins April 5th, 2023

DEPARTMENT: BUILDING & GROUNDS

This position is responsible for the daily care and maintenance of the park and facilities. Daily responsibilities will be trash removal, restroom care, landscape/mowing, basic labor, minor construction and repair, general park cleanliness and upkeep. Individuals must maintain a strong focus on attention to detail and job tasks while also being a source of general park knowledge for guests. This is not a behind the scenes position, you will work among the guests during the course of normal daily routine. Position will require individuals that are active and outgoing.

Seasonal Position: 20-40 hours per week, Target Start April 1st, 2027
Year-round Full Time Position: 40 hours per week, Open for consideration 

THIS POSITION REQUIRES:

1. Physical labor in extreme weather conditions

4. Knowledge of mower and trimmer operation and maintenance
