We have seasonal positions for both full & part-time, although full-time is preferred!
Schedules vary weekly and we cannot guarantee set hours and days at time of hiring.

DEPARTMENT: GUEST SERVICES
Hours may vary, but may be all of 9 am – 6 pm
Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand for prolonged periods of time
Guest Services positions are the point of contact for inquisitive guests in the park, animal feed sales, ride/attraction ticket sales, and souvenir purchases. Considered a hub of information and services; individuals must be able to work fast paced, multi-task, and maintain the highest level of guest service and satisfaction.
Position/location can rotate within the park per the day; Admissions, Gift Shop, Animal Feed & Fun locations, Giraffe Encounter Decks, Concession Registers and More!
Seasonal Positions: 20-40 Hours per week, Target opening date April 22nd, 2025
THIS POSITION REQUIRES:
- Must be able to stand and remain on feet for extended periods of time
- Possess superb communication skills
- Maintain a clean, and stocked work space
- Ability to report inventory needs- Able to lift 50lbs to restock areas, or assist in restock
- Adheres to the Animal Adventure Park's dress code and handbook policies and protocols
- Shows initiative and has basic problem solving skills
- Cashier experience is desired, but is not required - Training will be provided to the right candidates

DEPARTMENT: FOOD SERVICE
** New to food service? We can and will train you!
– Hours vary, but may be all of; 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
– Must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods of time
We offer a basic but enjoyable menu for guests. Set-up and menu comparable to that of a stadium, bowling alley, or school snack stand.
Base Camp Concessions provides our guests full meal options and snack items.
Position is specifically based around food prep, convection oven use, and flat top grill use.
This position may also cross train to assume other positions with Guest Services.
Seasonal Position: 20-40 Hours per week, Target opening date April 22nd, 2025
THIS POSITION REQUIRES:
- Ability to maintain clean work, and storage spaces, that meet health department compliance at all times
- Ability to properly account for usage, and report inventory needs
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs for food/beverage/dry good stocking
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
- Adheres to the Animal Adventure Park's dress code and handbook policies and protocols
- Knowledge of food handling safety is a plus!
- Food Service and cashier experience desired, but not required - Training will be provided to the right candidates
Guest Service & Cashier experience a plus!

DEPARTMENT: BUILDING & GROUNDS
This position is responsible for the daily care and maintenance of the park and facilities to ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.
Daily responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Basic janitorial duties: trash removal, restroom upkeep, also assisting guest services areas with stocking/restocking where needed.
- Assist with School & Group visit arrivals and supervision.
- Basic grounds keeping: landscaping/weeding, mowing, leaf blowing, maintaining guest pathways to ensure general park cleanliness, and upkeep.
- Basic laborer duties: minor construction and repair to maintain a well manicured and operating facility.
Desired Candidates:
- Must be active and outgoing -position requires physical labor in extreme weather conditions, also the ability to interact with park guests frequently
- Able to adhere to and maintain park cleanliness standards
- Adheres to the Animal Adventure Park's dress code and handbook policies and protocols
- Able to remain on their feet for extended periods of time
- Able to lift, carry, bend, stoop, sweep, rake, push a wheelbarrow,etc. and remain active for an entire shift.
- Able to lift, pull & drag 50lbs
- Must be able to self start, follow weekly grounds maintenance schedules, and take initiative.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and switch tasks when needed quickly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic tool use and operation is desired, and will take preference.
- Knowledge of equipment operation desired and will take preference: riding mowers, leaf blowers, skid steer, mowers/trimmers etc...
